After spending the first ten years of her career In the world of corporate consulting, Ann-Marie found her calling in early childhood education when her son began preschool. Her working experience in the field and her educational journey in early childhood graduate-level work led her to pursue and obtain a Master of Arts degree in Social Emotional Learning through National University, and also certification in Early Education Leadership through Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.

Her approach to SEL is influenced by the field of positive psychology, emotional intelligence theory, prosocial classroom theory, growth mindset, interpersonal neurobiology, and evidence-based SEL frameworks and strategies. Her research and work in the field of SEL has fueled her passion to make positive transformative change to improve overall mental health well-being, behavioral, academic, and social success.
